Dear Colleagues,
In the autumn of 2016, the Lithuanian Press Photographers Club is pleased to present the 10th International Festival of Photojournalism VILNIUS PHOTO CIRCLE.
A PHOTOGRAPHERS’ WEEKEND will be held in Vilnius in November or December, during which lectures and tutorials will be delivered and the Festival prizes will be awarded. The main part of the festival is the Contest THE CIRCLE OF LIFE, in which press photographers from four continents take part. This Contest is the flag-bearer of the Festival, aimed at promoting the real essence and meaning of photojournalism. It is a contest of photo stories on social themes from our everyday lives. The photo stories must consist of between 5 and 16 pictures. The best six to ten photo stories selected by an international jury will be exhibited during the Festival and published in the journal Photo Circle.
Our main sponsor FUJIFILM has provided the first prize for The Circle of Life Contest. The winner will receive a FUJIFILM X-T2 and FUJINON XF Lens: XF16-55mm F2.8.

Posselt has received numerous awards, including World Press Photo, POYi, PDN Photo Annual, Danish Picture of the Year, Unicef Photo of the Year and the Danish Crown Prince Couple’s Rising Star Award. ‘PASSION’
People are interesting when they are passionate. Passion can be many things, from subcultures, mainstream culture, close relationships, political commitment or dedication in general, fighting challenges to many other things.
